Description

A Data Engineer at Jalopeura with 4-9 years of experience designs, builds, and maintains scalable and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure that are critical to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for Jalopeura's data ecosystem.
• Develop and optimize data architectures for data warehousing, data lakes, and streaming platforms at Jalopeura.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all data systems used by Jalopeura.
• Collaborate with Jalopeura's data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers to understand data needs and provide robust solutions.
• Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations relevant to Jalopeura.
• Monitor data infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform optimizations for Jalopeura's systems.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies, tools, and platforms that align with Jalopeura's strategy.
• Develop robust data testing frameworks to validate data integrity across Jalopeura's datasets.
• Mentor junior data engineers at Jalopeura and contribute to architectural design discussions.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based data services and resources utilized by Jalopeura.
